Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026. These terms apply to your use of Railero.com. By using the site, you agree to them.

What Railero is for

Railero.com is an independent travel-information website. It publishes route guides, maps and general advice to help people plan rail journeys in Europe. It is provided for general information only and is not professional, booking or travel-agency advice.

Information can change

Railway timetables, fares, seat-reservation rules, border and document requirements and other operating arrangements change over time, sometimes at short notice. We research our guides carefully and review them periodically, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, current or error-free at the moment you read it.

Before you travel, always confirm time-critical and important details, such as departure times, current fares, reservation requirements and entry or document rules, directly with the relevant train operator, national railway or official authority. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the information here.

Railero does not sell transport

Railero does not operate trains and does not sell tickets, reservations or transport directly. Where you can book, you do so with third-party operators and booking platforms on their own websites, under their own terms and conditions.

Third-party links, booking platforms and affiliate links

The site links to third-party websites, including booking platforms such as Booking.com, Omio and Trainline. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, prices or terms. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

Some links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. This does not affect the price you pay or our editorial judgement. See our affiliate disclosure and editorial standards for more.

Site content

The content of Railero.com, including text, guides, maps, graphics and the Railero name and logo, is owned by Railero or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. You may view and share links to our pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, republish or reuse substantial parts of the content without our permission.

Liability

Railero.com is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the information on the site or from its unavailability. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or withdraw parts of it at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

Railero is operated from the United Kingdom. These terms and any dispute relating to them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
